Hi readers! I usually had this once a week beauty regimen which I usually do every weekend. And this is to scrub myself with ‘A Bonne Spa Milk Salt’. PRODUCT PERSONAL EXPERIENCED
As I said earlier I had been using this product for quite some time now, and I am disappointed not because I don’t like it but because the labeling is exaggerated. Let’s start with why I like it. I like it for the reason that after every use I feel that my skin is super smooth. And it whitens some of the darks spot in my body. It also removes the dirt and dead cells in my skin. But that’s all it does… The product didn’t slim me down. I tried it every day before but it didn’t work. I wonder how they came up that slimming promised… By the way I also like the milky scent of this product and the creamy yogurt thing because it doesn’t hurt my skin that much unlike the pure salt product of A Bonne. And beware too, do not use product if your skin have open wounds or sun burned, because the pain would be intolerable... How about you readers? Have you tried this product lately? What can you say? I am open for your comment regarding your experienced. Good night everyone. J

MOVIE REVIEW: THE LONE RANGER (2013)

Hi readers, happy weekends to all of you. It’s been a busy Saturday for me since we had overtime and I don’t even feel like working today. My weekends are quite busy for three weeks now and I prefer to stay home. But work is work so I have to do what is asked of me to do. Anyway, my hubby is quite supportive of me and he asked me to watch movie after work instead of going home directly. So in the movie house, we chose to watch ‘The Lone Ranger’. I like Johnny Depp and the film seems to be good in trailer…
photo from google.com
‘The Lone Ranger’ starts its story with an elderly Tonto (Depp) tells a young boy about his story with the Lone ranger, which was a legend during that time. He tells the boy how John Reid, the Lone Ranger, who were killed and ambushed together with his brother and other Rangers. But with the help of the white horse brought to life in order to bring justice to his brother… For the whole plot kindly click here. J
The movie is a reboot of the famous TV show, but I haven’t watched the original though. And the director Gore Verbinski is the same director in Pirates of the Carribean. Johnny Depp is playing a somewhat the same weird role he has in pirates. Though the film comprises these two big stars in their industry, I don’t think I will like ‘The Lone Ranger’ as I like ‘The Pirates of the Carribean’. Armie Hammer is not suited for the role, and so with Ruth Wilson. I just don’t see the chemistry… The movie also consumed a lot of time to pointless scene. Why complicate a very simple story? I wonder… The cinematography was great though. Johnny Depp as Tonto is very convincing especially when he plays the elderly Tonto. The action was great too and some comic scenes were really funny. I just hope that the next franchise of this film will be better.

Parents need to know that ‘The Lone Ranger’ movie is full of violence like shooting and fighting with bloody scenes. It also suggests Cannibalism which includes cutting of a man’s heart and eating it. It also contains a rape scene in a whore house and some cursing and seductive languages. So I strongly suggest that kids will not be allowed to watch this film. Overall, the film is satisfactory. J

FOOD TRIP: SUNBURST FRIED CHICKEN

Hello readers! It’s a warm Saturday so my hubby and I decided to chill out at the mall.  We planned to see a movie but then the only 3D timeslot which still had available seats was at 4:30PM so we thought that we might as well get some grub to pass the time. The next issue was where to eat? We were walking around trying to pick a place when right at the corner of my eye, I saw sign “SUNBURST FRIED CHICKEN” and by some unknown force we were drawn to it.

There were only few people inside the restaurant. We chose a table at the left side but decided to transfer because the air conditioner which was apparently in fan mode was blowing air directly at us. When we were seated, I noticed the waiter and the staffs were not that accommodating, no greetings, etc. My hubby and I sat there for about 5 minutes before a waiter took notice of us and gave us the menu. I ordered their Home Specialty Fried Chicken Classic which consisted of three pieces of chicken with rice, coleslaw, and fries. My hubby ordered chicken fillet sandwich which looked like a burger. After 15 minutes, my hubby’s sandwich arrived then another 5 minutes for my order had followed.

The chicken was quite delicious but the fries they served were very far from the picture in the menu. It was just a usual potato readily available everywhere for a few pesos, which was then sliced, fried, and then placed in my plate. Worse there were only 3 pieces. It was more decoration rather than part of the meal. The chicken fillet sandwich tasted ordinary according to my husband. Overall, the experience wasn’t that nice, so I think I wouldn't go back there again. How about you readers? What’s your dining experience?

MOVIE REVIEW: PACIFIC RIM (2013)

Happy Friday everyone! My hubby has been waiting for this ‘Pacific Rim’ movie and was very excited when it was shown this week. We watched the movie in 3D, though I think it is much better if we had watched it in regular cinema. The movie is about robots and giant monsters and the story started when giant monsters called Kallu began to emerge from the Pacific Ocean and destroys cities near it. A war between the humans and the monsters began but soon realizing that they cannot fight these monsters with their available resources, humans begun to build big robots called Jaegers to fight them…

photo from google.com
The story of the movie focuses more in the later part when they already build the robots. The beginning of it all were just summarize in the start of the film. It’s maybe because it would be too long for them to build up the characters in the film. But though the writer decided to do that, for me, the film is still in fast phase and it has lack of highlighting. It should have been better if they put more emphasis in the beginning of how it all started then make a part 2 after that. Anyway, the director of the film Guillermo del Torro, displayed in the film his expertise in directing monsters and robotics film. The special effects are quite good and very realistic, including the fight scenes. The movie also portrays some comic scenes between the two scientists Geiszler and Gottlieb, which I find to be overplaying. The rest of the cast was good though.

Parents should be advised that Pacific Rim movie is a robotic film just like in Japanese manga animation. So parents should expect a lot of fighting scene, though not of bloody sort. It has a lot of destructions too, so expect a lot of destroyed buildings and yucky monsters dead bodies. The characters of the films also made some slight cursing. So I think if possible they should not bring their children 10 years old below. But overall, the movie was good and charming. J
